Eagle Bank Appointments of Distinction
Jeff Lynch, President and CEO, was recently reappointed by the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank Board of Governors to his second three-year term of service on the Little Rock Branch board of directors. Members are familiar with the economic and credit conditions within their respective Federal Reserve district. Observation of the Members, along with the economic data and information gathered and analyzed by St. Louis Fed staff, help ensure that local conditions are represented in Federal Open Market Committee deliberations in Washington, D.C.
Cathy Owen, Chairman, was elected to serve as Vice Chair of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Government Relations Council (GRC) this past fall. The current Chair resigned, and Mrs. Owen was advanced to Acting Chair of the GRC. Next year, she will serve as Chair of this Council. The GRC is the leadership committee within the ABA with the exclusive responsibility for recommending annual policy priorities to the ABA Board of Directors. This Council also provides ongoing policy guidance to ABA leadership as policy issues arise. Its diverse membership is reflective of the industry at large, representing banks from across the country of varying asset size, charter type, and business structure, making it a critical committee in representing both the specific interests of industry segments and the broader industry. Mrs. Owen also serves on the ABA Board of Directors.
